Linwood McDaniel, MS, OTR/L
Occupational Therapist

Linwood moved to Florida from California in June of 2022. He has a Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy and Education from Springfield College. Linwood has worked in several settings including public and charter schools, VA hospital, early intervention, home health, and as a director of rehabilitation in a nursing/rehab hospital. He has experience with spinal cord injuries and in the schools he worked with home hospital students, medically fragile students, along with kids in moderate to severe classrooms. Linwood loves working with children and helping all the kids he works with do their best and have fun doing it. He has two very active kids (Miles 9 and Ella 7), who love all aspects of coastal and outdoor living and riding their dirt bikes and quads. As a family they love road trips and exploring new areas. He loves spending time with his wife of 10 years going out and listening to music.

 

Rachel Egger, MS, OTR/L
Occupational Therapist

Rachel moved to Tampa Bay from Louisville KY in December 2014. She has her Masters Degree in occupational therapy from Bay Path College in Longmeadow MA. Rachel has worked in several settings throughout Tampa Bay including charter schools, skilled nursing, sub acute hospital, and was the head rehab coordinator for an outpatient assisted living and independent living senior community. She has experience with cerebral palsy, autism, spina bifida, developmental delay, handwriting without tears and specialized FM coordination treatment within classroom and outpatient programs. Rachel enjoys passing on both professional and first hand knowledge of adapting and overcoming challenges through her experience as a pediatric stroke survivor. Rachel resides with her husband and two cats in Tampa, and enjoys traveling, seeing family, and adaptive sports such as paddleboarding, skiing, and surfing. Rachel is driven by being able to show what is possible and how to overcome challenges.
